You will master the essential elements to provide in your application, relating to your budget and the form. You will obtain all the information necessary to prepare a compliant file. The deadlines for the next filings in production at SODEC are February 26th 2020 (short and medium film) and March 25th 2020 (young creators).

Workshop is given in French but questions may be asked in English.
Geneviève Gosselin-G. is a Quebec producer. In 2017, she ensured the executive production of the feature film Genèse by Philippe Lesage, the international premiere took place at the prestigious Locarno Festival. Since then, the film has won several awards around the world (Los Cabos, FNC, Valladolid, Namur). She also produced the short film Vétérane (2017) by Pier-Philippe Chevigny and Recrue (2019), the premiere took place at TIFF. In 2020, she will shoot the short films Fantômes by Alexa-Jeanne Dubé and Blitzmusik by Martin Amiot. She is developing several short and feature film projects, including Richelieu, Pier-Philippe Chevigny’s first feature film, one of the 10 projects selected for the Talent Project Market at the Berlinale 2020. She has participated, among other things, in the Cannes markets (Sodec Lab 2018, Telefilm Canada Talent tout court 2019), Berlin (Berlinale Talent 2020, Talent Project Market 2020), Annecy (2019) as well as at the Rencontres de coproductions francophones (2018, 2017).
