Scriptwriting is an essential element of the creative process. During this 12 hours workshop, you will be encouraged to structure your ideas, take a personal point of view and develop your narrative style. Particular attention will be dedicated to the validity of characters and dialogues. This course immerses you in the heart of the practice while promoting your reflection. Time will also be allocated to discuss your own projects and study how to integrate these techniques into your film.
Workshop is given in French but questions may be asked in English.

Graduate of Cinema screenwriting program and now instructor at INIS, Camille established herself as a screenwriter after a brief stint at Telefilm Canada and Sodec. In addition to the different workshops on dramatic structure and the art of pitch she is offering, she is also participating in the development of several feature-length fiction films, in both French and English as a script consultant and script editor. Her short Miette (2020) — co-directed by Maude Bouchard — was selected in competition at Regard and Raindance. She is currently developing three feature films while working as co-director for her next short, The Ravishing.
