17 Sep New development residency for the 4th PRISME cohort !
TELEFILM CANADA, MAIN FILM and LA COOP VIDÉO have joined forces to offer a new residency to a member of the fourth PRISME cohort!
The partners will support a member proposing a feature-length fiction film project with services worth $12,000.
Telefilm and Main Film will provide one selected participant with project development support, training, mentoring, access to equipment and more, valued at $8,000.
La Coop Vidéo will offer a year’s access to the Coop’s offices, support for the recipient in the production and/or creation of their project, as well as 10 hours of mentoring, all valued at $4,000.
La Coop Vidéo supports cinéma d’auteur, offering space to creators with unique voices reflecting the diversity of viewpoints in Quebec cinema. Member filmmakers (directors and screenwriters) are placed at the heart of their activities. Their mandate is to create a sustainable context by offering personalized administrative and human support for the development and blossoming of member-filmmakers, where reflection on cinematographic creation – in terms of form, content and the living conditions of filmmakers – takes place.
A big thank you to Téléfilm Canada and La Coop Vidéo de Montréal for making this residency possible !
Main Film thanks the Canada Media Fund (CMF) for their financial support, as well as our close collaborators : L’Association des réalisateurs et réalisatrices du Québec (ARRQ) – L’Association québécoise de la production médiatique (AQPM) – La Coop Vidéo de Montréal – L’Institut national de l’image et du son (INIS) – The Canadian academy of cinema and television – L’Association NAWAL
