6 pm - 9 pm
Main Film Atelier
2025 Rue Parthenais #304-A, Montréal, Quebec, H2K 3T2
With Simon Lavoie (Se fondre, Norbourg, Nulle trace)
Member 60$ | Non-member 90$
Literature and cinema are arts that have fundamental differences. Adapting a literary work requires a thorough reinvention of the narrative.
In this workshop, you will discover how to take ownership of a story and turn it into a screenplay. You will learn how to translate the style, tone, and atmosphere of literary works into images without losing their essence, and you will explore the legal aspects involved. Various examples will be presented to illustrate these concepts. By the end of this workshop, you will be ready to draw on new sources to enrich your creative work.
The workshop will be given in French but questions may be asked in English.
