A first and exclusive at Main Film: Denis Côté, internationally renowned director, is honoring us with a workshop on documentary-fiction!
The making of a docu-fiction is not defined by precise conventions, so how do you find your way around? What are the challenges during the scripting, shooting and editing stages? This workshop will lead you to ask yourself the right questions in order to embark on the adventure of hybrid film.
Learning will be based on concrete examples from the instructor’s films, such as Wilcox and Les états nordiques.
Workshop is given in French but questions may be asked in English.
