Alternative documentary creation

Offering a unique terrain for experimentation, creative documentaries shed all convention in favor of non-traditional documentary forms such as animation, collage, the integration of fictional sequences and experimental documentary. Drawing on her own work and using visual excerpts, director, producer and cinematographer Miryam Charles will tackle a variety of subjects, including visual aesthetics, sound treatment and the filmmaker’s relationship with their protagonists, from an angle that invites us to broaden the range of possibilities when representing reality.
