This workshop is a must if you are planning to submit a grant application to CALQ for your fiction film. The essential elements to include in your application regarding your budget and the application form will be revealed as well as different strategies to optimize your application.

Completed by a review of your application in the second part of the workshop, you will have all the information you need to submit a compliant application!

The workshop will be given in French but questions may be asked in English.

Isabelle Grignon-Francke

Isabelle Grignon-Francke is a director and producer (co-founder of Club Vidéo). She has produced several short films, dramas and documentaries, and is working on financing her first theatrical features. “L’Artifice”, her latest film as director, has just begun its festival run at the RIDM. At the same time, she is completing a master’s degree in experimental media on the representation of otherness and narrative hospitality.
