In collaboration with the FNC, we are rewarding the best short and feature film in the “Les nouveaux alchimistes” selection, dedicated to experimental cinema:

NOUVEAUX ALCHIMISTES AWARD – Best Feature Film of Competition ($1,000 cash prize awarded by Main Film)
DADA NATIONAL AWARD – Best short film of competition ($5,000 creative residency at Main Film and $500 cash prize awarded by AQCC

The Magnus-Isacsson Award is presented to the best first feature film in the national competition, emanating from a social conscience. Presented with the participation of DOC Québec, Cinema Politica, MainFilm, Funambules Médias and ARRQ.

Main Film Award at Doc Lab Montreal – RIDM Forum – value of $2,000 redeemable for Main Film equipment rentals and $500 in cash, as well as a one-year associate membership with Main Film.
