ABOUT MAIN FILM

Main Film is a landmark artist-run center dedicated to independent filmmaking. We work to train, support, inspire and encourage a host of filmmakers to follow their vision, find their voice, develop their practices, experiment and master their art, and create the strong, bold works that are at the heart of our cultural landscape. In this way, we support the creation of an anthology of hybrid, original, genre-bending, decompartmentalizing works, energizing the future of Quebec cinema.

Main Film has some 250 members. Our activities include workshops, special projects, equipment, long-term training, creative support programs and residencies, meetings, awards and bursaries.

As part of the team, you’ll be working with Leïla, General Manager, Nada, Creative Support Programs and Partnerships Manager, Alexis, Technical Director, and Théo and Gabrielle in the rental department.
