A key part of our mandate is to ease financial and technical constraints on independent filmmakers in the production of their films.
As such, we offer artists access to a wide range of professional and reliable equipment at very affordable rates.
Main Film’s Associate Members benefit from an average discount of 50% off Non-Member rates.
Active Members benefit from an additional 60% off Associate Member rates.

Rental Rates
Weekend rental (from Thursday p.m. to Monday a.m.): 1 day billed
One week rental (7 consecutive days): 3 days billed
One month rental: 10 days billed
Minimum charge: 1 day
IMAAN Policy
Main Film is a member of the Independent Media Arts Access Network (IMAAN).
As such, Main Film recognizes memberships of other artist-run centres belonging to the Independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA). These members benefit from Associate membership status at Main Film for their equipment rentals (rates and procedures).
