Workshops and Events

Main Film offers three themed training cycles throughout the year, offering a wide range of theoretical and practical workshops to guide filmmakers in their creative development.

THE 3 WORKSHOPS CYCLES:

  • The fiction cycle runs from January to April
  • The experimental cycle runs from April to July
  • The documentary cycle runs from September to December

We also offer long-term workshop (30 to 40 hours) in partnership with Service-Quebec.

Training is provided by professional filmmakers, artists and recognized experts who offer, along with theoretical concepts and practical experience, a chance for participants to further their creative approach and explore their distinctive vision, while benefiting from a unique opportunity for creative growth.

Workshops are also an excellent way to connect with professionals in the filmmaking community.

For those with specific training needs, Main Film also offers custom workshops.
