This workshop is a must if you want to produce your projects professionally.

In 12 hours, this course will cover all the stages of production: from finding financing to post-production, it will equip you with the knowledge and skills essential for creating a short film.
As a result, you’ll be able to self-produce more easily, while respecting your artistic vision and limiting risk-taking.

Workshop is given in French but questions may be asked in English.

Amélie Tremblay

With a bachelor’s degree in Cultural and Media Production Strategies and a certificate in Scriptwriting from UQAM, Amélie joined Némésis Films straight from school, where she proved her worth as production coordinator. Since then, she has also been entrusted with the reins of the company’s emerging section. Her most recent productions include Marie-Pier Dupuis’ short film L’été des chaleurs (2023 – Prix ARTE, Brussels Short Film Festival; Melbourne International Film Festival; Festival du film francophone de Namur; Telluride Film Festival; FNC) and Olivier Godin’s latest feature, Irlande cahier bleu (Prix ACCQ – Caméra Lucida, Fantasia, 2023).
Amélie is currently working on several projects at different stages of production.
