Membership terms

How to qualify : 

• You must be a filmmaker (with at least one production to your credit).
• You must not be a student.
• You are not required to be an Associate Member at the time of your application, but you
  must become one for the duration of your Active Membership ($70/year).

Applications terms

Applications will be accepted throughout the year.
Applicants will be informed of the committee’s decision within six weeks.

Applicant files must be submitted through this form and contain:

• • A cover letter containing the following: a statement of your interest in being part of the centre, an explanation of your understanding of the program and its requirements, and a description of how the program will contribute to your practice, career, etc. (2 pages maximum)
  • The outline of a project you would like to submit for evaluation (1 to 5 pages)
  • The link to at least one of your works
  • Your artist CV

Once selected, Active Members will be required to sign a participation policy agreement outlining the obligations they must comply with to maintain their status.

Assessment grid

Applications will be assessed as follows: 

• Cover letter – 35%
• Project – 30%
• Work(s) submitted – 25%
• Artist CV – 10%

Feedback will be provided according to these criteria.

Should your application be rejected, you may submit a new application by making the necessary changes (as outlined in the feedback you receive).
